Hello, and welcome to RefinanceQuiz.com. This is my first post. I have created this site in order to explore mortgage refinance and to help promote comsumer awareness of the refinance options available to them. Many unethical lenders are trying to get consumers to sign up for ARMs without full disclosure of the potential consequences. Millions of Americans have already been duped into such a situation, and now the media and experts are predicting record levels of foreclosures. When interest rates rise on an ARM, so does the mortgage payment, and we are not talking about $50. Many ARM mortgage payments can and will go up by hundreds of dollars. This is generally something the consumer didn’t count on, though the lender knew full well what was going to happen, sooner or later.
I started Refinance Quiz to give the consumer a source of information that will help him explore the different refinance options out there, and to even refinance if necessary. I am by no means against refinance. I refinanced a few years ago when interest rates were low, and I locked in a low, low rate. This is paying off now that interests rates continue to rise.
